We are a committed and experienced team of practitioners working together to provide a holistic service to clients. All our practitioners are fully qualified in their fields and are members of professional bodies.

We continue to strengthen our skills through regular professional development and clinical supervision.

Kate Williams

Kate is a counselling psychologist and family therapist with over fifteen years experience. She has worked in a variety of community settings including many years in palliative care where she developed a particular interest in loss and grief, a subject she now teaches to post-graduate counselling students.

Kate has successfully worked with individuals, couples and families in helping them negotiate and better manage the many lifestages faced by couples and families by helping them maintain or regain a sense of their own integrity and compassion.

Qualifications
BA (Pysch), BEd (Counselling), Grad Dip (Family Therapy), Spec.Cert. in Couple Therapy, Advanced Mediation Cert., MAPS.


Dr Loretta Bell

Loretta is a counselling psychologist with 15 years of counselling experience.
Loretta has worked in various community settings as well as in private practice, counselling couples, individuals and groups. Loretta uses a variety of counselling modalities to help her clients who experience interpersonal difficulties, life changes, depression, anxiety, recovery from trauma, gambling, drug and alcohol issues, separation, divorce and premarital preparation.
Loretta’s personal style as a counsellor is dynamic and interactive, respectful, compassionate and when appropriate, tempered with humour. She believes that helping individuals and couples to act within their personal value system and gain a cohesive, but flexible sense of self helps people to negotiate difficulties and to lead fulfilling lives.

Christine Weber

Christine is a counselor and psychotherapist working in private practice and community settings. Christine focuses on the healing and capacity for growth within each person and offers empathy and clarity for her clients and their situation. Her calm and supportive nature facilitates an environment that allows the individual to give voice to their emotional life. Within her person-centered approach she focuses on the therapeutic alliance between client and therapist as the essential element of therapy.

She initiated and experienced two significant transitions in her life. Moving to a different country and later changing careers have given her valuable and unique perspectives and insight in what it means to embrace and be challenged by life changing events. Her personal experiences allow her to be an empathetic partner in exploring a broad range of issues including life transitions.

13 years of international corporate experience in project management with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures have made her intimately acquainted in supporting individuals to identify and utilize their unique strengths while acknowledging their weaknesses. She trusts that being aware of our personal beliefs and values as well as our aspirations is fundamental in living a content and satisfied life.
Teaching Health Science at La Trobe University gives her the opportunity to engage in contemporary academic thought, which continues to inform her therapeutic approach.

Greg Sando

Greg is an experienced mediator and accredited family dispute resolution practitioner. Coming from a legal background and work in the community sector, Greg is able to assist families with making parenting arrangements after separation, as well as assisting to formulate agreements on how to divide assets. He is also able to conduct mediations to resolve workplace and other disputes, as well as be a 'conflict coach'. In all forms of dispute, Greg, works with each party to understand their history and their particular needs and concerns, and encourages the participants to develop their own solutions to the issues.

Greg works with his clients to construct workable arrangements at times where clients need guidance or where there has been a history of conflict and confusion, and to assist families to establish good relationships as separated parents and effective parenting plans.

Accredited Mediator, Accredited and Registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, BA, LL. B., Grad. Dip Legal Studies


Carolyn Last

Carolyn is an experienced mediator and accredited family dispute resolution practitioner. She has assisted hundreds of people to explore and resolve their disputes, primarily in relation to family separations, and also in workplaces and other settings. Drawing on her legal background and psychology qualifications, Carolyn helps people to navigate their way through separation related matters, including property settlements, parenting arrangements and relationships and financial support of children. She uses a facilitative model of mediation to discuss and explore issues, ideas and options to best meet the needs of particular situations and helps clients to preserve and enhance their ongoing relationships. Carolyn believes that mediation provides a productive way of discussing and potentially resolving disputes for many people in situations of conflict, and is particularly useful where relationships need to be maintained, such as parenting or work relationships.

Mediator and Registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner
LLB, BComm, Post Grad Dip Psychology.
